The Place Beyond The Pines Movie

Director Derek Cianfrance (who brought us Blue Valentine) is set to work on The Place Beyond The Pines, an upcoming drama movie. The film is starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, and Rose Byrne. A few words from Director Derek Cianfrance about the movie The Place Beyond The Pines:

"I have a film called The Place Beyond the Pines, which is all about fathers and guns, and it has motorcycles and guns in it. One thing I wanted to do with Blue Valentine was to make a really violent film without guns in it. The next one will have guns, so it will be easier. No studio yet. We're in the middle of financing it right now."

Plot:
"The story revolves around a pro motorcycle rider (Ryan Gosling) who begins robbing banks to support his baby son and a cop turned politician (Bradley Cooper) who goes up against him. As the incident between the pair intensifies, deep-seated family rivalries begin to come into play."

There's no official release date, but I heard that filming should start this summer.
